Back in the day of monochrome monitors and 256K of RAM, ASCII art was about has high-tech as it gets. We’ve obviously come a long way since. But for those that yearn for the days of old, check out Photo2text.com, a site that lets you convert images to old-fashioned ASCII art. Photos must be under 200K in size and should have a high contrast. For instance, the image below didn’t fair so well in the conversion process (see the ASCII version here).
