Well, considering this is my first posting to this blog, I figured that this posting should be some sort of introduction. My name, as evident, by information from my profile is Tyson Kopczynski. I’m an Author Expert for Network World’s Microsoft Subnet during the month of June. Some of my background information is available in the bio section for this blog. As expected, that bio doesn’t tell the entire story as it happens to just detail my current technology focus for the past couple of year. A focus that has varied over the years as the types of projects that I worked on have changed. In general, I tend to gravitate towards subjects that deal with information assurance. But, if something (a subject) has bright and shiny lights I’m more than happy to immerse myself in those subjects as well As I noted above, I will be acting as an Author Expert this month. In particular the author portion of the title refers to a book I just completed called Windows PowerShell Unleashed (a plug). However, that doesn’t mean that I will only be blogging or answering questions about PowerShell. Rather, my goal with this blog is to focus on Microsoft related technologies (that I work with) and how these technologies are applied. In other words, I will try to relate my blog entries to possible questions that other IT Pro’ers may have about these technologies and how they relate to their own environments. In addition, I’m open to answering any questions that readers may pose to me. If I don’t know the answer, I can more than likely get the answer. I happen to work with some really great people that have also written numerous books and are considered industry experts in their respective focuses. This concludes my introduction; I hope to field as many questions as possible over the next month and bring some interesting topics to light. :>)
