Reuters reports that Microsoft has agreed to modify Vista in response to Google anti-competitive complaint made to the Justice Department, the companies said on Tuesday. Microsoft will build an option that users determine their default search engine of choice, and to put links inside both Internet Explorer and the Start Menu that make it easier for users to access that that option. The changes will come in the Vista Service Pack 1, which Microsoft said it will be testing by year end. Read more.
