Connected Home News is reporting that semiconductor firm EZChip is to supply network processors to both Cisco and Juniper.
Citing comments made by EZChip CEO Eli Fruchter during the company’s Aug. 13 earnings call, Connected Home News reports that Juniper contributed 40% of the processor maker’s revenue for the first half of this year, and that Cisco will start producing routers with EZChip components “some time in 2008.”
