If you’ve made the decision to upgrade to Vista, a good 200 or so things probably stand in your way – your existing applications and the hours upon hours of compatibility testing required before you can safely put them on a new operating system. Well, your friendly neighborhood Microsoft Vista folks want you to relax because they’ve got you covered. No seriously. for those of you getting ready to cutover your enterprise for Vista, the team has been out there giving two day seminars on how to conduct application compatibility testing.
Now they are offering a free, downloadable video version of the training. It reportedly covers most common application compatibility issues found with Windows Vista, as well as how to use the various tools Microsoft makes available, says Peg McNicol, in the Windows Visa Blog. The training is put on by Microsoft’s Windows Application Experience SWAT Team.
