A few weeks ago, Skype, IMO, gained eternal notoriety when executives of that firm, through mouthpieces, and the power of the internet, tried to convince users/subscribers into believing that a service outage which came suspiciously after a (Microsoft) Windows update was Redmond’s fault. Nowhere in their press releases was the fact that they, Skype, had just pushed out a software update as well!
Anyways, eBay, through its Skype subsidiary, is again serving as the distributor for a particularly insidious worm, dubbed Pykspa.d or internally by Skype as Ramex.a. This worm is virtually identical to the worm that plagued Skype back in April. For which the network/software has not been hardened?
Must be annoying at eBay to discover that Microsoft cannot be blamed for this!
