For the blog this week, I’ve invited Skyline ATS instructor and good friend Dave Shultz to take over for a week. Dave’s recently made a transition from being focused on route/switch technologies to now being focused on voice, so he’s gone through all the CCVP cert exams in the last several months. I’ve asked him to talk about Cisco’s voice certs and his recent experiences. Feel free to post away with questions and comments for Dave. Here’s a brief bio on our guest:
Dave Schulz has been in networking for over 24 years, mostly working for a reseller in the Midwest. Most of his experience has been in routing/switching, performing implementations and troubleshooting on a variety of networks from small to enterprise. More recently, Dave has focused his studying on the voice technology, while pursuing a career in teaching. Dave currently is employed by Skyline-ATS, where he teaching a variety of IP Telephony voice classes. Dave holds Cisco certifications in CCNP, CCDP and CCVP.
