As a parent, this school-officials-gone-mad stuff worries me more than MySpace and video games lumped together:
A 13-year-old girl hugs two friends as a so-long-for-the-weekend gesture and for that she gets two days of detention.
“I feel it’s crazy,” says the 13-year-old.
That’s because it’s crazy … which any school official should be able to recognize at least as well as the typical 13-year-old.
