Cisco fires top dog in Brazil

Cisco fired former top honcho in Latin America Carlos Carnevali, who was among the Cisco employees arrested in Brazil for alleged tax evasion. Cisco, which announced Carevali termination on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22), said the firing is “due to the nature of the criminal charges against him as well as the company’s internal review, which found a failure to comply with Cisco’s Code of Business Conduct.”
