Back in October, New York regulators beat $1 million out of Verizon for failing to deliver on an unlimited bandwidth promise to some 13,000 customers. And Sprint showed that it doesn’t fully understand the concept either.
Now it seems the pizza chain Papa John’s uses the same flawed dictionary as these carriers, witness this offer of “unlimited toppings” that comes with a caveat: You can pile on all the toppings you want as long as all you want isn’t a number higher than five.
At least a pizza joint can’t pull the plug on your Internet connection.
