which is hardly surprising as Vonage’s service is not unique nor outstandingly good nor does it have an unassailable lead on potential competitors. And there’s also the questions that arise out of the curious history of founder and ex-CEO Jeffrey Citron, his financial relationship with the company, and the timing of the IPO (see this article in Fortune). As a customer I don’t want to see Vonage have problems but it does seem quite possible that Vonage is starting to slide down a long slope.
