A California appeals court says First Amendment rights of bloggers and Web site operators trump the fervent desire of Apple Computer to identify and presumably punish those who leaked confidential information about a product called “Asteroid.”
Since encouraging exactly that type of behavior is a large part of what we do around here, it should come as no surprise that we find the three-judge panel’s decision to be a sound one.
