The University of California, San Diego today is hosting the first-ever U.S.-India Summit on Education, Research & Technology. The event will feature a live address and Q&A with Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam via high-definition video feed. Sessions will zoom in on areas of possible collaboration, including wireless and nanotechnology, and an overview of India’s science and technology policy. Speakers will hail from academia as well as industry, including companies such as Qualcomm and Tata.
