Hook, line and Mac users

Frankly, I am shocked — shocked! — that a technology pundit of John Dvorak’s tenure and stature would publicly admit to intentionally baiting Mac users simply to generate fodder for his column in PC Magazine.

 Tsk-tsk, John. Thirty years in this racket and I’ve never seen such a thing … the admission part, that is, not the baiting.

 

So lest there be any confusion, I want it noted for the record that I wrote the “Mac” vs. “PC” item below with only the purest of intentions, meaning that the Apple commercials in question truly failed to move me. Should my expression of that opinion generate any ill feelings among the Mac faithful, and should the expression of any such ill feelings find their way into future writings of mine, the outcome should be considered pure happenstance.

 

I do not bait Mac users. …. Now, those open-source crazies ….
