Question of the day: Windows Error Reporting “suggestions”

When saying yes to a Windows “Send this Error” report pop-up, one sometimes gets a “Click here for a suggestion” on how to fix the problem. The question is, has anyone actually received a useful suggestion? I just got a “suggestion” for a hung Windows Media Player app that told me first that the problem was the player was responding slowly or stopped (duh) and second that it could be a spyware problem. Um, no, the program couldn’t find the right media codec for the video I was trying to play, so it decided to stop working.
