In step with this go-go-go medium, IM shorthand has sprung up, leaving us more acro’d than a 18-year staff sergeant at Fort Polk. And while BRB or AFK are innocuous enough for HR, here’s a list that would add extra starch to their pantsuits. MSNBC offered this as a warning to parents whose children IM. It seems some wacky tykes have been IMing like truckers right under their parents noses and striking up inappropriate online relationships with adults.
ESO and SOHF definitely could work in the office. So could BOHICA, when you come to think of it…
