USA Today reports that the “disruption only appeared to affect devices connected to certain types of cellular networks.” Yeah, the crappy ones. Oh, we kid… (Ed. – *cough*advertisers*cough*.)
Apparently Blackberry users on the stellar Cingular, T-Mobile and Nextel nets were affected for up to four hours. When reached for comment, RIM responded: “La, la, la, la – we can’t hear you – la, la, la la!”
