Knowing that people love to hack around in their Tivos, the company held a Developer Challenge to see what sweet new apps the community could cook up.
The grand prize – and a Segway – went to Kyle Copeland for his app, AudioFaucet, which allows any iTunes users to control their music via their Tivo.
Best Information Application went to Sergey Chemishkian’s Digital Home, with which users can control lights, shades, and even security cameras via the DVR.
Our favorite: Jeremy Brooks won Best Music Application for Music Monkey, which asks you trivia questions based on your own music library.
