MS employee wins bad writing contest

A Microsoft employee has won the world’s worst writing contest for 2005. And, no, it wasn’t a code-writing or documentation-writing contest, though we’d bet Redmond could land some top spots there, too.

No, Dan McKay, a quantitative analyst for Microsoft Great Plains, won the coveted Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest, an annual foray honoring the worst bad fiction parodies.
