Vonage is taking a page from Amazon.com’s promotional book and will have “ultimate performing sports heroes” show up at select customer’s homes to install their VoIP.
The sweepstakes is being run as part of a promotion celebrating the install of Vonage’s 1,000,000th line. Heading to a home near you will be: Atlanta – Dominique Wilkins; Austin – T.J. Ford; Denver – Shannon Sharpe; Detroit -Desmond Howard; Kansas City – Derrick Johnson; Los Angeles – Luke Walton/James Worthy; Nashville – Keith Bulluck; Raleigh – Daniel Ewing/Sean May; and Tampa – Chris Simms.
“Ultimate performing sports heroes”? That list seems to be missing Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Cal Ripken, Barry Bonds, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, John Elway, Jerry Rice, etc., etc., etc.
