Bill Gates is reaching out to the kids (and their future disposable income) with an MTV News special, “The Notorious B.G.” Seriously, that’s the real title. And, yes, it is funny typing the words “MTV News.”
The show will premiere Thursday on MTV Overdrive, the network’s broadband channel, and air on MTV at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
In it, MTV News correspondent Gideon Yago will moderate “a conversation with Gates as he discusses the future of entertainment, music and education.”
“I am excited to have a dialogue with the MTV audience about the future and their role in shaping it,” Gates said. Implied: “ …and their wallets. Mwah ha ha h ha ha ha!“
So, Bill, boxers or briefs? Seriously, what we wouldn’t give for an MTV special with Steve Ballmer. Or maybe it’s more of a WWE thing?
