Second Life is gaining momentum and attention as more players head online to create a perfect, um, second life for themselves. They can travel to far-flug locales real and imagined, shop at malls, gamble at casinos, hit dance clubs and hook up with other players in adult-only areas.
“Coming to Second Life was a nice way to get away from the stresses of real life,” notes one player.
“In real life, I love to shop. Here I get the same satisfaction, but it’s more fun because you can pick the colors and it will always fit,” says another.
