Computers hijack quarter vote

We’re never gonna get legitimate, political computerized voting off the ground.

Today’s latest story proves that, given that an online vote to choose Washington’s state quarter design was besieged by ballot-stuffing computers.

“We hadn’t counted on, I guess, the over-enthusiasm of people,” said State Quarter Advisory Commission spokesman Mark Gerth. That’s a job? We want that one.

Anyway, Mark, we don’t think it was necessarily “enthusiasm” that prompted this – try “mischief.”
