IT’s stressful, sure, but the most stressful of all occupations? Behind even bomb squad rookie and Naomi Campbell personal assistant?
So sayeth the 3,000 pros polled by online learning provider SkillSoft. The survey, which is undoubtedly geared to sell more training, has 97% of those polled finding “their life at work stressful on a daily basis.” Four-fifths “feel stressed before they even enter the workplace”, and 25% “are under such enormous pressure to perform at work they have taken time off suffering with stress.”
Yet no numbers on the percentage of those who booze it up in the server room. We’re onto you, pals, and we’ll rat you out if you don’t share.
