These are dark times, my friend. One of America’s greatest resources may have been compromised by hacking – US Weekly.
According to the AP, the FBI has “searched the home of a paparazzi agency’s co-owner to determine whether someone tried to hack into the computers of the gossip magazine.” The feds took at least one computer back to its lab for investigation and general picking-apart.
We haven’t been this concerned since the Great Paris Hilton Sidekick Hack of 2005. I mean, if US Weekly has been victimized, can People, The Globe and the venerable Enquirer be far behind? Where will we get pictures of Lindsay Lohan leaving a Starbucks, and how will we know what Angelia Jolie got for her Namibian baby shower? (Ed. – Don’t forget the Sudoku puzzles, the ones in the gossip mags are the only ones we can finish.)
