So with its portal lifeblood slowly draining away, AOL is making the next natural move: producing TV shows for kids.

The ISP’s youth brainwashing division, KOL, is now slated to co-produce part of CBS’s fall Saturday morning junk cereal and toy infomercial lineup.

“The block of programming will be named KOL’s Saturday Morning Secret Slumber Party on CBS and will premiere Sept. 16, along with a website that will be developed by KOL and DIC Entertainment Corp.,” notes the Los Angeles Times. Ooh, can’t wait.

Little-known fact: “Secret Slumber Party” was on the short list of names for this blog. True story!
