So here’s an interesting fracas:
A Web site offering a calendar of female IT professionals has been hit with a DoS attack.
The 2006-2007 Screen Goddess IT Calendar features movie-inspired (clothed) photos of women in IT. Produced by female IT pros, profits are being donated to organizations that encourage women to enter IT.
Last week the Screen Goddess site was hit by a U.S. DoS attack and now one of the calendar sponsors, the Australian Computer Society, has pulled out of the project.
ACS officials were upset by this photo (no nudity, but close) featuring helpdesk manager Sonja Breeze.
