AOL has apologized for the whole massive breach of privacy data dump, but that’s just not good enough for the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
The EFF filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission Monday, hoping the agency will investigate AOL’s self-described “screw-up”. The EFF wants more details about the incident and “wants the FTC to order AOL to notify all subscribers whose search requests were revealed and pay for a year’s protection from a credit monitoring service.”
The EFF should also file a suit for all those trying to unsuccessfully ditch AOL.
