We feel a disturbance in the Force.
Oh, this may be it:
Google CEO Dr. Eric Schmidt Joins Apple’s Board of Directors
Dr.? Aren’t we fancy?
“Eric is obviously doing a terrific job as CEO of Google, and we look forward to his contributions as a member of Apple’s board of directors,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Like Apple, Google is very focused on innovation and we think Eric’s insights and experience will be very valuable in helping to guide Apple in the years ahead. taking over the free world.”
Wonder how good Schmidt is with a fire extinguisher.
This line from the release boilerplate at the bottom is funny: ” Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh.”
And it’s still igniting today.
