Whatever it is Apple is announcing today, it definitely involves iTunes. The Music Store is unavailable as of this writing. At 8:30a EST, I was getting a Store Busy, try back later error. Now, a black page with the words “It’s Showtime! iTunes store is being updated” splashed in white appears. I am sure what Apple is going to be unveiling will be cool, but they picked a heck of time to take down the store – it’s New Music Tuesday when all the new albums for the week come out. I pre-ordered the new Barenaked Ladies album and was hoping to download it so I can listen to it on my flight to Dallas later this morning. Even got an e-mail from iTunes saying it was available. Poor timing on Apple’s part.
