If your network remains deathly slow, perhaps you can time files transfers with Google’s new Calendar service. I expected a GCalendar moniker, but apparently the official tag is Google Calendar. In more Google news, they opened a research and development facility in Beijing. According to most accounts, you can get five Chinese PhDs for the price of one American PhD. Guess all that Google executive noise about soul-searching their decision to gave personal user information to the Chinese government fell along the same party line with their plans for a research center.
