Sony recalls all laptop batteries on Earth

At this point, it’s probably easier to just write a story on the laptops not covered by a Sony battery recall. Sony has said, in effect, “Screw it, just send ’em all in” when announcing a “global replacement program” covering at least 7 million of its allegedly flammable laptop batteries – and perhaps as many as 10 million. Research consultancy IDC says laptop sales are expected to grow 24% this year. Also up, sales of asbestos Dockers and fire extinguishers. Via USA Today
