School gets funding to fight cyberattacks

The University of Texas at San Antonio has been awarded a three-year, $3.1 million grant from the Department of Homeland Security to support state and community efforts to fight cyber attacks. More specifically, the funds go to the school’s Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security, which got a $1 million grant in 2004 to train communities in cybersecurity.
