Well, this is rich. Apple has announced it unwittingly sold “a small number” of fifth-gen iPods harboring the Windows RavMonE.exe virus. Use the affected iPods (less than 1%) on a Windows machine and you’re in for a world of hurt. Use it with a Mac and you’re golden. Is this the underground marketing arm of the “I’m a Mac” campaign? “As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it,” Apple noted in a statement. “Hardy.” What an awesome adjective.
