Katie Fehrenbacher of GigaOM has blogged about a Lazard Capital Markets report that suggests that Cox is switching out Motorola for Cisco for its transmission gear. The deal is likely worth a couple of million for Cisco, as Cox upgrades its plant from 750 MHz to 1 GHz, and is likely to take place over the next 18 to 24 months, according to the report.
