Rene Millman of ITPro in the U.K. is blogging from Cisco Networkers in the south of France. He was impressed by a demo of a “cool piece of kit that allows people with VHF radios to talk to people with UHF radios. In turn these people can talk to others with IP phones or via a softphone on a computer.” This capability provides interesting benefits to the emergency services.
Sounds like Cisco should kit out the emergency services with this platform.
