Vista OneCare flubs security test

An independent security certification body has given Microsoft Vista’s OneCare security system a thumb’s down, writes The Inquirer. Virus Bulletin tested 15 security “suites” on Windows Vista against a set of malware that is listed in the WildList database. Apparently Microsoft’s super secure system failed to detect or stop 37 malicious programmes. Microsoft back to the security drawing board.
