Ars Technica reports that Microsoft has etablished an internal start-up called officelabs that will follow the open source approach to software releases – “release early, release often” – and use the Web for distribution. “One aspect of open source that Microsoft isn’t planning to adopt is the actual open source part,” writes Ars Technica.
