Spam continues to evolve and some of the directions are, to say the least, bizarre. I recently started get spam from France and it is very French — they are shilling wine!
Other countries pitch Viagra and Get Rich Quick schemes while the French push the good stuff. I also get a lot of spam from Russia (can someone tell me how to filter out messages using the Cyrllic character set — that would reduce the spam that gets through my filters by 50%!). The latest reads:
As I don’t read Russian this ad is totally mysterious. What is “Golden Mouse”? Anyone?
