Microsoft is being sued over the “Windows Vista Capable” logos on computers that met the hardware requirements to run the new OS when it came out, blogs Seattlepi.com’s Todd Bishop.
The suit filed on behalf of Dianne Kelley of Camano Island, Wash., says the logo failed to distinguish the fact that not all machines with the “Vista Capable” logo would be able to run the higher-end Vista features, such as Aero Glass, Flip3D and the Media Center. Some were only able to run the bare-bones Windows Vista Home Basic edition, Bishop writes.
