Open source protester crashes Bill Gates speech at Chinese university

A man brandishing a sign that read “Free software, Open source” crashed a speech by Bill Gates at one of China’s top universities, reports The Associated Press.

Gates was handing out prizes to students when a man walked on stage, flashed the sign in front of photographers and ran off stage to be tackled by security staff.
