I’m funny – but looks aren’t everything, as my wife is fond of saying. Can Microsoft be funny? Humor isn’t an easy thing to pull off, especially if you’re Steve Ballmer. (Wait, I take that back, now that I recall the infamous Monkey Boy dance. Now that’s comedy.) But the company is giving its best shot at humor lately, according to Network World’s Layer 8 blog. Witness Microsoft’s parody of the iPhone and a report that Microsoft is looking to tap into the popularity of funny videos online.
