So a couple of months ago a 3/4″ cable strung between two telephone pole on one side of my property sagged to the ground. I made several half-hearted attempts to contact Time Warner (the owner of said cable) but got put on hold, tried to call their 800 number from a cell phone (which doesn’t work), and so on. Today I finally remembered to try again and called their customer service who … wait for it, wait for it … said they couldn’t help me!
I pointed out that problems with cables can’t be that rare but I was told they had absolutely no idea who to contact! The CSR even asked her supervisor who apparently had no clue either. They took my number and that was it. I even called Ventura City to see if they knew who to contact but no joy there either.
Amazing! Bet if I just cut the cable someone would be out pretty quickly to deal with it. Then again, I wouldn’t want to wind up like the bear below …
