LifeSize, Codian partner

In a not-so-surprising move, LifeSize and Codian have partnered to deliver high-definition videoconferencing to a multi-party video call. Codian’s MCUs will be able to support up to 20 simultaneous users, all receiving content at resolutions of 1280×720. The move is not surprising because both companies were touting their complimentary technologies at nearby booths at Interop last month. The only problem is LifeSize hasn’t shipped its high-definition capable endpoint yet.
