Another fall through the cracks item: SightSpeed 4.0 is out. The video chat application features a new user interface that more tightly integrates the video windows with the contact lists. The company also added new options for keeping video mail around longer than the typical 30-day time period for video bloggers that using it record their missives. Another nice feature that all desktop conferencing tools should have: The ability to ring the PC’s speaker when someone calls, regardless if you have a headset plugged into the headphone jack. SightSpeed also simplified the free plan. Previously, freeloaders were only allowed one video mail per day. Now they can do 10 per month. Still only $4.95 a month.
