Intranets.com and Netspoke were both acquired in the past couple weeks (just catching up from my vacation last week). Intranets.com was scooped up by WebEx for roughly $45 million in cash while Netspoke raked in $23 million from Premiere Conferencing. Interestingly, Intranets.com’s Web conferencing module was powered by Netspoke. Now, it’s powered by WebEx, naturally. It will be interesting to see what happens to other small Web conferencing providers over the next few months. Will they be swallowed up by larger competitors? Stay tuned.
