VitalStream adds Flash 8 support

VitalStream this week became the first of the big service providers to announce support for the new Flash 8 format that Macromedia is rolling out. The others should be following soon, as Macromedia is making a big video push with this latest update. Not sure what’s entailed on the service provider end to roll out the new format. For consumers, it’s just a matter of downloading a new player plug-in for your browser of choice. Though the older players will play most Flash 8 content.
