FilmLoop offers a player that sits on your PC and pulls feeds of photos on to your machine. You can also add photos to a loop with a drag-and-drop interface. The actual images are housed in the FilmLoop data center. Idea is to make it easier to share photos with friends and family. Essentially, you send a feed link in e-mail to everyone you want to share your “loop” with. They’re also partnering with news organizations and comsumer sites to extend brand – i.e. a Purina dog and cat photo feed. There’s no need to visit a web site to find the recent photo. They scroll across the screen automatically when the player is open. Click the photo thumbnail and get a larger view. Part of the FilmLoop business model is to sell an enterprise client for creating and previewing loops locally before publishing.
