In early 2006 what’s in your wallet – assuming that gas prices haven’t run you into the poor house – will look slightly different. That’s when a new version of the $10 bill which traditionally features Alexander Hamilton, the first secretary of the US Treasury, will appear. This is the first redesign of the note since it was released in 1990. But here’s a thought: What will happen with all those copies of Print Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop CS and all those Canon printers that aren’t supposed to scan or print images that they detect as being currency ? Will they still be able to do so?
New Hamilton coming, will those clever scanners and printers cope?
