Tandberg today acquired New Zealand-based Ectus, maker of streaming media software for videoconferencing. The move will allow Tandberg to sell its video endpoints as content creation points for streaming media presentations. Any call can be recorded with the Ectus system, including any data presented during the call. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
